Disability Workshop
The aim is to raise awareness of disability in a Christian context, present biblical, patristic, and sociological approaches to disability, and help communities develop the best strategies for inclusion. In this sense, the training will discuss some of the following topics: the notion of disability and the different types of disabilities, disability and the body of Christ, biblical and patristic perspectives on disability, friendship, autism, dementia, and the aesthetic shock provoked by persons with atypical bodies.
